HDPE Hot Melt Adhesive Coated Tapes, with Release Liner

HDPE fabric or film, often woven or non-woven, is used as the base substrate. Surface treatment, like corona or flame treatment, may be applied to improve adhesive bonding. A silicone or fluoropolymer release coated liner used is for an easy peel off. A pressure-sensitive hot melt adhesive is melted and applied using a slot die coating system. The adhesive is precisely coated onto the liner (not directly on the HDPE tape at this stage). The treated HDPE substrate is then laminated onto the adhesive-coated liner using a nip roller under pressure. This process ensures a uniform bond between the adhesive and HDPE layer. The laminated structure is cooled using chill rollers. The final roll is rewound under controlled tension for further converting.
