The primary components are ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) resin, tackifying resins, and wax. Each component is chosen based on the desired properties of the final film. The raw materials are mixed by melting the EVA resin and then adding the tackifying resin and wax. This granules or Flex of hot melt is then melted in a tank and pushed through the slot / flat die to form a thin film. This film is coated on release liner and cooled through the chill rollers to solidify it into a flexible film. Once cooled, the film is cut into rolls or sheets, depending on customer specifications. It may also undergo quality checks to ensure it meets required standards. This process results in a strong, durable adhesive film that can be used across a variety of applications.
